On September 18, interiors hosted a conversation with
The Rug Company’s Christopher Sharp about his Banners
of Persuasion program, which commissioned tapestries
by 14 contemporary artists. Held at The Rug Company’s
Chicago showroom, the event top drew designers such
as John Ansehl (shown with interiors’ Arianne Nardo and
Michael Wollaeger) and Michael Berman.
On October 3, interiors and ddc helped celebrate the publication of
Damon Crain’s new book Big Color, about midcentury American art
glass. ddc’s Siamak Hakakian, artist Paulette Tavormina and Arianne
Nardo were on hand.
On October 10, J. Robert Scott and Allan Knight Associates celebrated the opening of a new 2,500-square-foot J. Robert Scott
section in Allan Knight’s 40,000-squre-foot Dallas showroom.

For a keynote presentation at the Merchandise Mart’s Design
Chicago event on October 8, interiors CEO, Patrick O’Bryan,
moderated the Owning Design panel with participants Richard
Chilcott and David Adler. The program was registered for CEU
credit and will take place in different markets throughout 2014.
