Austerity has fallen out of favor. The rigors of muted winter skies, paltry drink

Canovas proposes something jubilant: A collection of fabrics for spring with
the pedigree and the panache to soak the world in succulent, romantic color.
Solange, a graphic, embroidered botantical of French provenance, is vivacious
and ornamental—the perfect reason to rebel against a constant duty to beige. A

It’s the kind of furniture that doesn’t mind a low-cut back or a loosened
button. Slinky, breathy—Maison Ventury Paris is like a rendevouz at a
vamped-up nighttime fashion shoot. Principals Vincent Cadena and
Emmanuel Touraine have created a very limited-edition collection,
drawing each piece with such linear tenacity that any emergence of a
curve feels deeply considered. Designer Cadena believes in “consum-
mate French craftsmanship,” and pursues his timeless aesthetic using
only vegan luxury fabrics. The supremely tailored line flaunts metal,
mosaic, fine wood finishes and plated elements. Méridienne from the
bespoke Collection Privée merges metallic indigo and black embossed
chevron for foxy results. For information, ventury.fr
