Fiery Pool: The Maya and the Mythic Sea—over 90 works‚ many
recently excavated and never seen before in the US. The
exhibition takes a unique look and understanding of the
influence and sacredness of the sea in ancient Maya culture.
The show has four sections: Water and Cosmos; Creatures of
the Fiery Pool; Navigating the Cosmos‚ and Birth to Rebirth. All
