hofer photograph of a classic portuguese library to the rear of the dining room—an
image that is surreal in its visceral impact. the couple love to read and the well-stocked shelves, sybaritic armchairs and coffered ceiling of their library provide an
ideal setting. lovell worked with them to acquire portraiture by modern masters,
contemporary photography, and southeast asian antiques which add another
dimension to every room. a coromandel table, canary yellow ceramics, and a
chinoiserie secretaire offer dashes of vivid color.
