and a rubbed white lacquer credenza gliding on bronze blade legs (both
of oldroyd's own design) and kitschy vintage finds like a de Kooningesque
painting over the living room fireplace or two molded fiberglass chairs from
1970's paris.
“it’s incredibly satisfying to walk into a place and have an image in your head
and sketch it out on a napkin [true story] and two years later walk into it,” he
says. “i still have the napkin.” Yet another happy marriage of soft and hard. the
