through a careful selection of art and antiques from the client’s
own substantial collection‚ to which Brown introduced new
elements to‚ as he describes it‚ “inject a modern edge.”
“i love antiques‚” explains the designer‚ who spent much of his
youth in West Africa and France‚ “But i also love a very clean‚
modern edge‚ so if i have a style or preference‚ it’s that nice
ability to mix them‚ to have that interplay of things that seemingly
don’t have anything to do with each other‚ but through the
contrast between them‚ you make the individual pieces more
