LYNN YAEGER is a sta writer for the Village Voice, a contributing
editor at Travel & Leisure, and a frequent contributor to Vogue, e
New York Times, and other stylish publications. e two loves of
her life are fashion and antiques, so it is no surprise that she was
entranced by Paper Illusions, which lovingly describes the exquisite
paper replicas of couture and historical garments created by the artist
Isabelle de Borchgrave.
JEN RENZI is a freelance writer based in New York. Previously a
senior editor at House & Garden and Interior Design magazines,
she has written for publications including Condé Nast Traveler, the
New York Times Style Magazine, Surface, MoCoLoco.com and others.
For this issue, she interviewed fashion scion Patrizia Gucci—who,
it turns out, has both an anthropology background and a passion
for Asian philosophy: “It really shows in Patrizia’s work. Instead of
approaching decoration as a stylistic exercise, she took a thoughtful,
almost existential approach, limiting herself with objects that have a
strong sense of meaning to her.”
LAUREN SHOCKEY is a freelance writer based in New York City.
Her articles have appeared in a variety of publications including

others. She holds a diploma in Classic Culinary Arts from e French

Independent Study Scholarship from e Culinary Trust, Lauren
is presently writing a memoir/cookbook about being a culinary
apprentice around the world.
RIMA SUQI is a writer, stylist and photographer who covers
design, fashion, interiors, liquor/spirits and travel. Her writings and
photographs have appeared in publications including NY Magazine,
e New York Times, Departures, Travel & Leisure, Town & Country
and Elle Décor and she’s authored three books, with another on the
way. She lives in Manhattan, but travels worldwide and now has the
Puerta America on her lengthy list of traveler’s must-sees in Spain.
